Fausto Gilberti was born in Brescia in 1970 and studied at the Brera Academy in Milan. He lives in Villa Carcina, Brescia.
He narrates a world in black and white. Ironic and biting, the protagonists of his paintings and animation works are stylized little men characterized by a few distinctive features. Repeated countless times, between humor and chronicle, they ironically evoke the most devastating aspects of reality, madness, strange impulses, deviations, without ever resorting to shock effect.
