Successful Story

Born in 1968 in Forli, he lives and works in Torriana (Rimini).

He participated to the I Premio Cairo, in 2000.

His research is rooted in the tradition of Italian painting, a painting that has always lived in relation to its original visual landscape. His authors of reference are Sironi, Morandi or Guidi, imprinting his painting with a markedly conceptual character, without lingering in citationist nostalgia.

His works, regardless of the medium used, consist of immediately recognizable geometric lines and volumes, primary, monolithic elementary units that determine recurring elements organized into visual structures that return periodically within the artist's various pictorial cycles.

The artist orchestrates and organizes his gaze through themes such as architecture, landscape and portrait. Progressive evolution through horizontal deviations is the very purpose of a painting-making understood as introspective analysis and search for truth.
