Successful Story
Author of a visionary realism that finds its subjects in memory. He painted cycles of steam locomotives and warplanes, describing them as symbols of power and metaphors for the idea of time. In the late 1990s he recreated a magical New York that emerged from American film archives. Today he is interested in the study of matter and his figuration is losing its contours.
He won the 1st Premio Cairo, in 2000 and participated to the 3rd Premio Cairo in 2002.
