Desiderio

Desiderio, with a symbolic and highly evocative name, is a visual artist who alternates different expressive media to return a representation of modernity poised between surrealism and magic realism. His poetics gathers different languages and the same elements, the same characters and icons, are dramaturgical seeds that are presented in a painting and taken up by video or personified in sculptures: a sort of continuous becoming that confuses reality and works, bi-dimension of the canvas and volume of the installations thus permeating the environment in its totality.

He participated yo the 13th Premio Cairo in 2012.
